Psalm 55:22 is a Comforting verse when we have burdens in our lives

Psalm 55:22
Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken.

Comfort that I can cast my burdens on the Lord
Comfort that the Lord will sustain us
Comfort that the Lord won't allow us to be moved
Comfort to know that we can stay strong because we are Rooted in Jesus!

This is a Psalm of David that was written during a trying time in his life
David had a lot of burdens in his life! Part of his adult life was being annointed king but could not be king for a time
He was also being chased by a crazy man, Saul but he would not retaliate.
Even when he became king he had difficulties

Lessons we can learn from this verse:
*Our focus should always be God's help, rather than our burdens
*God's help is greater than our burdens
*God takes care of things as HE sees fit
*We need to learn contentment not in ourself, not in man, but in God
