Psalm 143 a song and a prayer of King David

Psalm 143:1 LORD, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.
While we know that David was the chosen king of Israel and a "man after God's own heart", he did not escape the hardships and sorrows of life. But David's response to these difficulties are something we should follow - Remember all that God has done (for those who have gone before us and for US), Meditate on His Word, and Focus on these things. David directed his thoughts in the right way during hard times.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
